Board approves County Line Road resurfacing, work begins September 2
A two-week closure is expected between Miller Rd and the township line, with detour signage routing traffic via Fairview Ave.
The Town Board voted four to one on Tuesday to award the resurfacing contract to Redfield Paving, with work scheduled to begin the Tuesday after Labor Day. The stretch has been patched twice in three years.
Supervisor Dale Renner said the project addresses the worst frost heave the township has on its books, and that deferring it another season would have meant rebuilding the base rather than resurfacing.
Residents along the affected stretch will receive a mailed notice with specific closure dates. Questions may be directed to the Road department during office hours.
